The information in the first three sections below has been gathered through an interview with Jagruti Mistry, Accounts Payable Supervisor at [Costain Skanska JV], who work as part of the HS2 project to deliver solutions to infrastructure.
We are a group of third-year undergraduate students in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Sheffield. Within the PHY340/50 problem-solving module is this group project within which we have the opportunity to research into the possibility of a manned Mars mission with a budget of £100bn and a timescale of 20 years.
